The 2nd International Conference on Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Engineering is the synergy of two fields, which are important for the improvement of patient healthcare and strategic to disease control. This conference serves as the platform for expertise from both fields to meet and expand their spectrum of research work in these two comprehensive engineering fields.
For biomedical engineering (BME), it is the application of engineering principles and techniques to the medical field. It combines the design and problem solving skills of engineering with medical and biological sciences to help improve patient health care and the quality of life of individuals. Its main concern is with the delivery of medical treatment and therapy; development and manufacture of prostheses, medical devices and diagnostic bio-instrumentations.
For pharmaceutical engineering, it emphasizes on the use of drugs, analysis of drugs, related materials and endogenous compounds and their processing.
The conference will be a forum for in-depth discussion to promote novel methodologies and cutting-edge solutions to meet the emerging challenges in the biomedical and the pharmaceutical fields.
